Wedding Cake Cookies

After my grandmother passed away, my family and I were devastated. We spent many nights mourning the loss and eventually began looking for ways to feel close to her again. So, we raided the recipe cabinet. When we finally came across the famous wedding cake cookies, and we had to make them! Now, I am here to share this blissful recipe with you!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 cups of Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 2 1/2 cups of Flour
  • 1 teaspoon of Cream of Tarter
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • 3/4 cup of Chopped Nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter & sugar together.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients (excluding Powdered Sugar).
  4. Form into round, flat balls.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Roll in Powdered Sugar once cooled.
  7. Serve!
